About Megan's Fund
Megan's Fund is a nonprofit organization that provides Christmas Gifts for less fortunate children across Central Indiana. This charity was created to honor the life and legacy of Megan Elizabeth Williams, a vibrant 17-year-old high school student who attended Center Grove High School. Tragically, Megan passed away in an automobile accident on December 17th, 2005 in Greenwood, Indiana. At the time, Megan was on her way to purchase Christmas gifts for local, underserved, children for the Holiday season. Despite this tragedy, Megan's family and close friends wanted her legacy of generosity to continue by creating a nonprofit: Megan's Fund. Over the past 20 years, Megan's Fund has continued to grow and honor Megan's legacy as they serve the families that need it most through the greater Indianapolis area.
